Land ownership is a great opportunity, but it ties us into finance - debt in other words, and into consumerism and, because we have to work, control, and, because we are taught to aspire, greed. That's my view. And in times when your existence did not involve social mobility, there was simply more cohesion and better satisfaction. But, I live now, and didn't live then.
