Autism is not a disease, it is a condition of genetic origin (DNA) therefor the chemicals in the mother's blood will have little to no affect on what is essentially the blending of the ovum with the sperm and that happened during coitus, not withe the injection of pain killers. While some chemicals can have an insidious effect on the developing fetus (thalidomide is a good (really bad) example. Too much alcohol (ethanol) can affect the size of the fetus. But the genes are only affected by which sperm fertilizes the ovum.
