It's quite a realisation to discover that the panoply of common decency no longer applies. That our governments can do what they want us with impunity. Lock us up, beat us, steal our pensions, delay our retirements,hike our taxes and prices. And we can do nothing.
It is realising the lack of any right on a nation's part to exist that is our first realisation in starting to take our lives back into our own hands again. If our deed is not enough to secure our freedom, then our children will do a better deed: Padraig Pearce.
