“You’ll be dead, but you’ll be okay”: is death by firing squad a good thing?
Join a firing squad, then tell me
There is nothing whatsoever funny about death. Not until Dave Allen gets a-hold of it, that is.
A Canadian-born Texas-resident doctor has for some time been developing his expertise in shooting people. Not just any people, but those incarcerated persons sentenced to death. Sentencing a person to death is the easy part. Actually getting them dead is somewhat more complicated, and Dr James Williams has now become an expert in one method of doing that: firing squads. His expertise has not been developed at the behest of the judicial system, however. It has been developed at the behest of the incarcerated persons themselves.1
